Good morning fellow Skinnies! :-) I trust we all made it to day 2. I hope nobody is discouraged; remember that it takes time . . . . and honestly I snook a quarter size Keebler Fudge Shoope cookie today - just one! :-) Let's try out best to stay on board, but don't get discouraged for "moderational" slips. :-)
Tip for the day: If your going to be out and about, pack your snacks/meals with you so you don't starve trying to get back home :-). A shaker cup is great for mixing on-the-go. Also, if you plan to be out early in the AM, try packing your days worth of food the night before. I also like to try to cook one meal every day or so and make a doubled recipe so that I can freeze leftovers for later dates. I figure having 3-4 recipes in "bulk" should cover one person's meals for the duration of the 2 weeks. Also, I get bored eating the same thing every day, but rotating the pre-made meals helps benefit from not cooking everyday and still having some variety! ------- Please feel free to blog your guys' thoughts, questions, recipes, ideas, etc.!
My Meal run-down (I am in the "refuel" day #4):
8:30 - Muscle gain shake
11:00 - 1/4 raw almonds
2:00 - Chicken breast over brown rice (earlier I baked 6 marinated chicken breasts and, of course, packaged them up for us to eat at later meals . . . so I just re-heated it and ate it with the rice)
5:00 - Muscle Gain shake
9:00 - two hardboiled eggs chopped up and toped with a dash of salt/pepper, 1/4 cup salsa, and 1/2 an avocado - I am counting the avocado/salsa as either veggie/fruit so that I can use it on any day; technically the tomatoes and avocados are both fruit - right? :-)
You'll probably notice that I tend to wait less time between my AM meals and as the day goes by I can go longer with less food:-)
Update: I have concluded day 4 (it's right in sight for you guys) and I actually was amazed when I stepped on the scale (not expecting to see any change) and I had broke past my plateau. I am 1.5 pounds below my lowest weight range!!!!!!! Whoopeee!!!! And, the kicker is that I weighed in the evening, not in the morning like I normally do!!! I hope that is encouraging to you guys! Everyone's results will vary, of course, but the point is that it is working at getting my metabolism to burn beyond it's regular normal slow speed :-). Stick with it!!!!!!!!
